I want to express my gratitude for the patience and collaboration I received from so many people. I will not make a list so as not to omit mentioning anyone. To all, sincerely, many thanks.
Particularly, I have to thank the authors of the guides “Aves del Neuquén”, “Aves de Argentina y Uruguay” and “Aves del Uruguay”. These were the main sources where I obtained the information for the South American species, besides being the books used for reference and investigation on this exciting subject. (See the bibliography in the last pages).
I am grateful also to the Patagonia, which offers magnificent scenarios filling them with numerous actors, some of them very reluctant to come on stage when I am out there with my camera. My thanks to them anyway.
Also to everyone that help us whith the NO clasiffied species section.
Furthermore, I want to express my gratitude to the owners of the land I often pass through, many of which I have not had the opportunity to meet personally, and to all the people that sometimes even without knowing it, have helped me.
